logline

In solitude, the body does not fall silent—it composes. Resonance of One is an experimental journey into the unnoticed symphonies of isolation, where breath, pulse, and movement transform into an intimate soundscape of existence.

about
What does loneliness sound like? Resonance of One is an experimental short film that redefines solitude not as silence, but as an intricate composition of bodily sounds—breathing, cracking, pulsating, whispering. Through a visceral exploration of these unnoticed rhythms, the film captures the absurdity and beauty of a body that refuses to be silent. A sensory experience beyond words, Resonance of One invites the audience to listen, not just with their ears, but with their entire being.

director's statement

Solitude has never been silent for me. In the absence of voices, the body becomes an orchestra—breathing, cracking, pulsating, whispering. I have always been drawn to these unnoticed compositions, the secret symphonies we carry within us. Resonance of One is born from this obsession: an intimate exploration of the sounds that shape my existence when no one else is around.

As a filmmaker, I often find myself listening rather than speaking. In my loneliest moments, I have learned to hear my body’s responses to isolation—the rhythmic murmurs of my stomach, the sharp snap of my fingers, the irregular tempo of my breath. They are not just noises; they are proof of presence, a dialogue between the self and the physical form. This film captures that conversation, embracing the absurdity and beauty of a body that refuses to be silent.

Experimental cinema gives me the freedom to strip away conventional storytelling and work with pure sensation. With Resonance of One, I wanted to translate my personal relationship with solitude into a visceral experience—one where the audience is not just observing but feeling, hearing, and existing within the resonance of a single body.

This is my loneliness, raw and unfiltered. And yet, in its resonance, I hope others might hear echoes of their own.
